Where are you located?
We are located in the heart of Lancaster County right off Route 23. From Route 23 go 1.3 miles south on Diller Avenue, then turn left onto King Court. From Route 340 go 3.5 miles north on Hollander Road, then turn right onto King Court.

What are your store hours?
We are open Monday- Friday, 9am to 4pm. Martin's Chair is closed on Saturday, Sunday and all major holidays. Even when we are closed you can still view and order our Windsor Chairs and other 18th century reproduction furniture online via our digital catalog.
What types of woods do you use to build your furniture?
We typically use Poplar, Maple, Cherry and Tiger Maple but we can use almost any type of wood for our 18th century reproduction furniture. Some of the different types of wood that we have used in the past for our Windsor Chairs and other furnishings include Birdseye Maple, Ebony, Old Barn Wood, Padouk, Purple Heart, Swiss Pearwood, Wenge and Zebra.
Where does most of your wood come from?
Most of the wood that we use comes right from the Appalachian Forests of the North Eastern United States. We can however obtain any other specialty or imported species required for the craftsmanship of our Windsor Chairs and other 18th century reproduction furniture.
What types of finishes do you use?
We use Pre Catalyzed Lacquers that come primarily from the Sherwin-Williams Company. We also use simulated Milk Paints from Olde Century. We also use double boiled Linseed oil and wax finish to make sure our Windsor Chairs and other 18th century production furniture is conditioned to authenticity.
Where do you ship?
We ship anywhere! Our Windsor Chairs and other 18th century reproduction furniture have been shipped to all 50 States as well as Europe and the Middle East. As long as you can provide an address we will find a way to get your heirloom furnishings to you.
